Former member of Three 6 Mafia, Koopsta Knicca, was jailed on the night of the Oscars for aggravated assault and aggravated robbery. According to Juicy J, he almost blacked out before the performance on Oscar night. Luckily, once he was on stage, he saw Jamie Foxx in the audience and that was enought to calm him down. Juicy is quoted as saying, ” “We were in the dressing room and they called us, ‘Three 6 Mafia, 10 minutes. Three 6 Mafia, five minutes.’ I walked up and I was relaxed, then I started getting a passing-out feeling,” Juicy tells MTV.” Read the entire article here.
Citing their performance at the Oscars, Pastor Spencer said, “Three Six Mafia are pawns of the devil” and he called on his congregation to mount a “holy war” against their music. His rediculous actions did not stop there, he then called on everyone in the congregation to go home and destroy all their children’s hip hop music. He finished up his sermon by predicting that Juicy J would leave the group, since he had thanked Jesus in his speech.
